When I was planning a family trip to Baden, Switzerland, I didn't expect that this city would turn out to be so charming and packed with a variety of activities for kids. I would like to share my impressions and why Baden became our favourite holiday destination.
Langmath Historical Park
Our adventure started with a visit to Langmath Historical Park. It is an amazing place where history literally comes alive before your eyes. The kids were fascinated by the reconstructions of old buildings and interactive exhibits that allowed them to touch the past. We walked along the picturesque paths, enjoying the fresh air and beautiful scenery, while the children enjoyed exploring every corner of the park.
Thermal Pools
The next stop was the thermal pools. Baden is famous for its hot springs and we couldn't miss the opportunity to visit this unique spa complex. For children there are special pools with warm water and slides where they could have fun. And we parents enjoyed the relaxing treatments and the view of the surrounding mountains.
Teddy Museum
One of the most memorable moments was a visit to the Teddy Museum. This place struck us all with its cosy and kind atmosphere. A huge collection of teddy bears and interactive expositions allowed children to plunge into the world of their favourite toys. They were happy to participate in various masterclasses and games, and we enjoyed their joy and laughter.
Limmat Nature Reserve
Nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts will find many interesting places in Baden. We went on a tour of the Limmat Nature Reserve, where the children were able to discover the diversity of flora and fauna. Hiking trails, biking routes and picnic areas made our day in nature an unforgettable experience. The kids were thrilled to be able to observe birds and small animals in their natural habitat.
Children's Amusement Park
At the end of our trip we visited the children's amusement park. From carousels and slides to interactive games and show programmes, there was something for everyone. The children had fun and we were happy to watch their joy and excitement.
Conclusion
Baden turned out to be the perfect place for a family holiday. There is something for everyone: history, nature, entertainment and relaxation. We had an unforgettable time and I can confidently say that Baden is a city worth visiting with children. I am sure that your family will have a lot of fun and impressions from this amazing trip!
